Working For the Weekend

Sometimes having a reputation pays off.

Welcome to Liz's refrigerator. In Liz's refrigerator you will find many beers, both domestic and imported. The wine coolers are mine too, but I probably won't ever drink them. They're for girl guests.

I had the Red Stripe, the Coors, the Wexford and the Blue Moon. The rest were a gift. A nice surprise on a Friday afternoon.

Unfortunately, Miller High Life is not my beer of choice. I calculate this is over 2 cases of the stuff. I have a series of plans I am considering. Plan 1 is that I will drink the beers I like first and then, when my taste stops working, head for the High Life. Plan 2 involves recruiting some drinkers, but only allowing them to drink the Buds or the High Lifes. Related is Plan 3. This scheme is to have a blow out and rid the fridge of all offending items. Finally, and most likely, I could simply acquire a taste for High Life.

Jester asked how drunk I might be on a weekend night? I think a picture speaks louder than words.

Cheers to all!

Hey Killer, this sounds like an excellent drinking plan, drink the good stuff first, then drink the bad stuff because you'll be so drunk it'll taste good.

By the way, Fringes has informed me that you are going to be my victim, oh, I mean, person I interview. Does that work with you? I know I'm not familiar with you or your blog, but hopefully that won't be a problem...?

oh liz my dear, you really should know that when confronted with inferior beverages that there is only one thing to do. invite over the biggest lushes you know and turn the beer into boilermakers. ~strong~ ones. as for the wine coolers, they make great slushies in the summer. ;-)

Sebastien,

Welcome to Killer Rants! You should know that there are two authors to this blog. I'm Liz, the one with all the beer. You'll know when Killer is writing because he'll mention his balls a lot.

Heather,

Thanks for the advice. I love beer and I love whiskey, but I'm not too fond of the two together. But then again, around 1 AM tomorrow morning, I may be up for most anything. I will post your note on my fridge.

Sebastien,
it will be great to get interviewed by a stranger. And Liz is correct, there are two of us, we like to keep it confusing.

Oh yeah, Liz, you lush.

In a few months I will be home, Chad will be in town, Clib will be in town. We are going to have the end all throw down at Casa De Liz.

Save some of that High Life, I will need something to bath in.

Uh oh, two of you??!!! I knew this blog was dangerous.

sebastien, it's only dangerous if you don't like to drink or reading about killers balls. lol

Doesn't someone already make a "Killer Beer" already?

I don't drink.

I like to read anyway.

Sebastien, in case you are still confused, Killer is the one who's the nurse.

I have my beer fridge from college just outside the back door where I keep my beer. It's rarely the same barley pops every week. I try to get a six pack of something I have not tried and then one I like but have not had for a while. Of course if there is a sale all bets are off...
